Jagadhatri Puja,is one of the famous bengali festivals of west bengal..we are proud to be among one of them who has the right to carry on this prestigious bengali festival..like every year Chatterjee family has once again celebrated this festival.. our puja has become 95 years old this year in our family... the deity resembles goddess durga and the rituals are almost similar..we prepare our own offerings n food items like rice ,cereals ,sweets and oters items... all these food items are prepared by our own family members..who are all brothers ...the puja is carried on in traditional way...priest n all the workers who works in this festivals are all there traditionally and no outsiders are allowed during the preparation of moha bhog (foods n sweets).. every year we work day and night together to make this festival a success.. all of our family members together unite and work to pray to the goddess for the well fare of our family and for them who are in need in this world to bless all of us so that we all can Njoy and share all the gifts that mother nature has provided for us ..and to make this world a beautiful place to live in..a world with Love and care...a world free of hatred ..

as time passes by so fast, soon we find that its the end of this festival too...all of our family members becomes pretty sad as goddess jagadhatri is going to leave us soon...and we got to wait for another year to see her again...this feeling cannot be expressed in words...to expres this i can give an example of a feeling that a child feels when his mother leaves him and goes away,its some what similar...we are waiting for next year...to greet her again in our home..
As the last day passes by sooner than we expected...we stared the firework show for the goddess
She has been escorted to the Ganges...The day has come for our mothers return to infinity as we ask her to return to this Earth once again...bringing uds glory,peace,brotherhood and Love..
"you are the light, you are our hopes, you are the truth, the holiness n faith, bring this light to all, bless them all, as we all are your creation... we are all your children.."
